Wolves eye audacious move for Real Madrid starlet

Wolves want to prise Martin Odegaard away from Real Madrid in a £20m move, claims The Daily Mirror.

Odegaard has made a thoroughly impressive start to the season after joining Real Sociedad on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old has arguably been one of LaLiga’s best players so far this season and his displays have not gone without notice.

Wolves have made a difficult start to the campaign and only picked up their first Premier League win of the season at the weekend.

Nuno’s side have struggled to juggle Europa League football with their hectic schedule list and their league form has suffered as a result.

Wolves are monitoring Odegaard’s progress and could even make a formal move for the Norway international in January if Madrid are ready to cash in.

Odegaard has played a direct hand in four goals in seven league appearances so far this season (two goals, two assists).

Furthermore, only Jadon Sancho (7.81) has a higher WhoScored rating than Odegaard (7.61) of players aged 21 and under in Europe’s top five leagues this season.
