West Ham wrap up deal to sign Liverpool target

West Ham have made Manuel Lanzini loan switch permanent from Al Jazira in a deal worth around £9m, according to The Daily Mail.

Lanzini, 23, has impressed since joining on loan at the start of the season and his performances had courted interest from Liverpool.

However, West Ham were always confident of keeping Lanzini beyond the end of this season and reportedly agreed a deal before the turn of the year.

Of West Ham players to have made at least five league appearances this season, only Victor Moses requires fewer minutes per successful dribble (30.6 mins) than Lanzini (33.7 mins).
