Inter eye deal for Paris Saint-Germain ace

Inter sporting director Walter Sabatini has reignited his interest in Adrien Rabiot and hopes to bring the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder to San Siro in the future, reports Calciomercato, via Football Italia.

Sabatini wanted to bring Rabiot to Serie A three years ago during his time at Roma but failed to convince then-manager Rudi Garcia to build his team around the France international.

Rabiot has continued to develop in that time but is still looking to establish himself as a first-team regular for Paris Saint-Germain and Inter will continue to monitor his future.

The 22-year-old has two years remaining on his existing PSG contract and any decision taken by the Inter board will hinge entirely on whether Rabiot renews with the Ligue 1 giants or not.

Only PSG team-mate Thiago Motta (448) has completed more passes in Europe’s top five leagues this season than Rabiot (422).
