Chelsea are keen on securing the services of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January, writes the Sun on Sunday.
The Gabon international has been in flying form for his club this season, netting more goals (15) than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues.
Dortmund would be loathe to losing their star frontman, who has fired them to second place in the Bundesliga this term.
However, Chelsea, who have scored only 17 league goals thus far, supposedly hold a strong interest in the 26-year-old as they look to bolster their chances of defending their title, despite a shambolic start to the season.
Aubameyang (7.75) is currently the fourth best rated player in Germany's top tier, with a further three league assists contributing to this commendable return.
