Championship side reject Tottenham’s £25m bid for starlet

Tottenham have had a £25m bid for Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon rejected, reports The Daily Telegraph

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been interested in signing Sessegnon all year but appeared to have missed out on the 17-year-old after he signed his first professional contract with the Cottagers in June.

The teenager has earned rave reviews in the Championship since breaking onto the scene last season and Tottenham have now reignited their interest in the England U19 international amid speculation linking Danny Rose with a move away.

Fulham are determined to hold on to Sessegnon and have even rejected Tottenham’s opening bid, which would have made him one of the most expensive English teenagers of all-time.

Sessegnon scored five goals and registered three assists during a breakthrough campaign that saw the teen play 26 times in the Championship last season.
