Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has reacted furiously to suggestions he has offered his services to Barcelona.
Barcelona are expected to sell Claudio Bravo to Manchester City before the transfer window shuts and will be on the market for a replacement goalkeeper.
Reports had emerged suggesting Reina’s representatives had told Barcelona he would quit Napoli to join the La Liga champions, but he has taken to Twitter to deny such accusations.
Of goalkeepers that made at least 20 appearances in Serie A last season only three had a lower save success rate than Reina (63.4%).
