Liverpool outcast wanted by London's elite

Out of favour Liverpool centre-back Dejan Lovren is wanted by north London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, as well capital outfits West Ham and Crystal Palace, reports TEAMtalk.

The Croatian defender has dropped behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the pecking order at Anfield, and it's seen the 30-year-old make just nine Premier League starts this season.

Lovren is expected to leave Liverpool for pastures new in the summer, with the Reds eager to shift the defender off the books.

A host of teams across the continent are keeping tabs on the Croatia international, but the four capital sides are alo monitoring the former Southampton man's situation on Merseyside.

Arsenal and Tottenham are likely to be in the market for another centre-back this summer as Mikel Arteta and Jose Mourinho, respectively, seek to bolster their defences.

David Moyes is looking to add some experience to the ranks at the London Stadium, while Roy Hodgson has endured his fair share of centre-back woes this term.

Lovren's former Liverpool teammate Mamadou Sakho currently plies his trade for the Eagles, and Hodgson would likely use the Frenchman to help lure the in-demand defender to Selhurst Park.

And it could now prove that Lovren's last game for Liverpool came in their 3-0 loss at Watford, which wrecked their chances of an unbeaten domestic season.
