Chelsea will move for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak if they fail to keep hold of Thibaut Courtois this summer, reports Goal.
Antonio Conte’s side are keen to keep hold of Courtois at the end of the season but realise they could be powerless if Real Madrid come calling for the former Atletico goalkeeper.
Courtois, 24, has previously hinted at returning to Spain and is reportedly on Madrid’s list of goalkeepers to replace Keylor Navas at the end of the season, a list that also features Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
While Chelsea do not want to lose the Belgium international, they are planning for his departure and will move their attentions to Madrid’s city rivals and attempt to poach their No.1 goalkeeper.
Chelsea have a good relationship with Atletico having done a lot of business in recent summers, although a deal to bring Diego Costa back to Spain could be insisted if the Blues want to steal their goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old, who is on the verge of returning from a dislocated shoulder, only signed a new long-term deal with Atletico 12 months ago but has established himself as one of the best shot stoppers in Europe in recent seasons.
In fact, no goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets in the last three La Liga campaigns than Oblak (38).

Courtois has a contract, it's laughabale to say Chelsea realise they could be powerless. If Real come calling they could always say no.
