Manchester City have won the race to sign Celta Vigo winger Nolito, according to Tele 5, via Football Espana.
Nolito, 29, has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona in the last year and Luis Enrique’s side were favourites to sign the Spain international this summer.
However, City have seemingly taken advantage of Barcelona’s hesitation and reached an agreement with Nolito.
Pep Guardiola gave Nolito his Barcelona debut during the 2010-11 campaign and is keen to reunite with the Celta star this summer at City.
Only Lionel Messi (13) picked up more WhoScored.com Man of the Match awards in La Liga last season than Nolito (9).
