Richarlison leaves Everton for Tottenham

Tottenham have announced the signing of Richarlison from Premier League counterparts Everton.

Spurs had been looking to bring in another forward to provide competition across the frontline and have since spent big to secure the Brazilian's services.

The north London side faced competition from Chelsea for his services, but Antonio Conte's side won the race to sign Richarlison, who becomes Spurs' fourth summer signing.

"We are delighted to announce the signing of Richarlison from Everton, subject to a work permit," a statement read on Tottenham's official website.

"The Brazilian international has signed a contract with us until 2027.

"Richarlison, 25, has made 173 Premier League appearances to date, scoring 48 goals, during spells at Watford and Everton since making the switch from Fluminense in August, 2017."
