The Football Association will not take further action and charge Zlatan Ibrahimovic with violent conduct in relation to an incident involving Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye, reports ESPN.
Ibrahimovic, 35, was caught on cameras catching his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate in the face with his arm in the second half, which was not spotted by referee Craig Pawson.
The former Sweden international went on to score the winner in United’s 2-1 win at Selhurst Park to secure back-to-back league wins for the first time since August.
It will be a welcomed boost for Jose Mourinho, who will now have Ibrahimovic available to face West Brom on Saturday as they look to continue closing ground on their rivals.
Ibrahimovic is fantastic form in front of goal having scored eight goals in his last eight matches for United in all competitions.
