Arsenal consider English manager to replace Wenger

Arsenal will monitor Eddie Howe’s progress as Bournemouth manager as they consider him as a potential replacement for Arsene Wenger, according to The Daily Mirror.

Howe, 38, has thoroughly impressed with the job he has done with Premier League minnows Bournemouth and has even been touted as a future England manager.

However, before that, he could land the job as Wenger’s replacement, with Arsenal using the rest of the season as a job interview for Howe.

Wenger has entered the final 12 months of his existing deal and could finally call time on his career if he fails to land the Premier League title.
