Manchester City are keeping tabs on Alexis Sanchez’s ongoing contract talks between the player and Arsenal, reports the Sunday Express.
The Premier League leaders are ready to move for Alexis should discussions over a new deal fail to reap the rewards.
The Chilean is out of contract at the Emirates in June 2018, with Arsene Wenger desperate to keep Alexis in north London.
The 27-year-old is demanding £200,000 a week, which would make him the club’s highest earner, and guarantees that Arsenal are will mount a serious title challenge before committing to the club.
City would have no problems in meeting the player’s financial demands and given their 100% start to the season, would match Alexis’ career ambitions.
