Bournemouth want Liverpool youngster in £25m move

Bournemouth are preparing a £25m bid for Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson, claims The Sun.

Wilson spent last season on loan at Derby and was a revelation in the Championship.

Liverpool have ruled out another loan move for Wilson and are looking to cash in on the Wales international while his stock is at an all-time high.

Newcastle and Aston Villa have been linked with a move for the 22-year-old in the last week but Bournemouth are ready to beat their Premier League rivals to his signature.

The Cherries have a good relationship with Liverpool having signed the likes of Dominic Solanke, Jordon Ibe and Nathaniel Clyne from Jurgen Klopp’s side in the last few years.

Bournemouth made Huddersfield midfielder Philip Billing their third signing of the summer earlier this week and are now looking to improve their offensive options by signing Wilson.

Wilson finished last season as Derby’s highest WhoScored rated player in the Championship (7.01) after weighing in with 20 goals and assists (16 goals, four assists).

Furthermore, no player in the division scored more goals from outside the penalty area than Wilson last term (seven).
