Newcastle United are hopeful of getting Moussa Sissoko to sign a new long-term deal before the Euro’s in the summer in order to sell the France international on for a larger fee, according to L’Equipe.
Sissoko, 26, still has four years left to run on his current deal at St. James’ Park and is widely expected to leave the club over the summer.
The French midfielder has been regularly linked with a move to Arsenal since joining Newcastle from Toulouse in 2013 having been one of few bright points for the Magpies in recent years.
Since arriving in the Premier League, only four other players have successfully completed more dribbles than Sissoko (201).
