Crystal Palace have agreed a €38m (£31.6m) fee with Marseille with sought after striker Michy Batshuayi, according to The Guardian.
Batshuayi has been heavily linked with a move to the likes of West Ham, Juventus and Tottenham this summer following his performances for a struggling Marseille outfit last season.
The 22-year-old scored his first goal at a major tournament with his first touch against Hungary on Sunday and is expected to reject Palace’s advances as he waits for a club that can offer him Champions League football.
Marseille are reportedly using Palace’s bid to flush out interest from the likes of Juventus and Tottenham to speed up the process of Batshuayi’s departure.
Batshuayi scored 17 goals and registered nine assists in 36 appearances in the league last season for Marseille.
