Liverpool are considering a €15m (£11m) move for Schalke teenager Leroy Sane, according to SportBild in Germany.
Sane, 19, who only signed a two-year contract extension with Schalke in the summer, has courted the Reds’ attention after scoring three goals in his last three Bundesliga games.
Liverpool have reportedly had a bid rejected for the forward in the summer and have since had scouts out watching the Germany U21 international, despite already bolstering their attack in recent months.
Sane is currently Schalke’s highest rated player on the road in Bundesliga having garnered a WhoScored rating of 7.75 from his four appearances, with two goals and an assist to his name.
