United target Mainz frontman

Manchester United are believed to be readying a big money move for Mainz striker Yoshinori Muto, according to the The Guardian.

United's goalscoring woes are well documented this season, with the club labouring in front of goal of late.

Muto has supposedly been recommended by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, with the Japan international in impressive form in the Bundesliga this campaign.
