Inter activity set to continue with Perisic signing

Inter are hoping to complete their fourth signing of the summer, closing in on a deal to sign Ivan Perisic from Wolfsburg.

The Serie A side have already brought the likes of Kondogbia, Miranda and Montoya, as well as welcoming Jeison Murillo having completed a deal for the defender earlier in the year, but are keen to bolster their attacking ranks.

Lukas Podolski's loan move didn't work out, while the same could be said of fellow January recruit Xherdan Shaqiri, with Perisic seen as a replacement for the Swiss international currently in talks with Stoke City.

The Croatian had a direct hand in 9 goals (5 goals, 4 assists) last season, despite making just 24 league appearances due to injury problems, helping Wolfsburg to a second place finish and DFB Pokal title in a fantastic domestic campaign for the club.
