Juventus have made Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera a top transfer target in January, according to Tuttosport.
Max Allegri is suggested to be hopeful of bolstering his midfield options this month as Juventus finally look to have their title charge back on track.
Herrera, 26, only joined United from Athletic Club in 2014 but has mysteriously failed to nail down a regular starting berth under Louis van Gaal despite being a fan favourite.
According to the Daily Star, Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici was at Old Trafford to watch United beat Swansea 2-1 at the weekend to take a closer look at the Spanish midfielder.
Despite being cast in and out of the starting XI, only Juan Mata (8) and Wayne Rooney (7) scored more league goals than Herrera for United (6) in 2015.
