Paris Saint-Germain have announced they have sacked Laurent Blanc after three years at the club.
Blanc, 50, only signed a new two-year extension with PSG in February this year but has ultimately paid the price for underachieving in the Champions League last season.
The Ligue 1 champions were knocked out by Manchester City in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and the Qatari-owned club are now expected to make former Sevilla manager Unai Emery his successor.
Blanc finishes his three years with PSG having won 11 titles and a staggering win percentage of 72.8% from his 173 matches in charge (126 wins).
