West Ham make £8m bid for Hull talisman

West Ham have increased their offer for Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass to £8m, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Slaven Bilic’s side have been chasing Snodgrass’ signature all month and have already had three bids rejected for the Scotland international.

The 29-year-old rejected Hull’s offer of a contract extension at the turn of the year but the Tigers did trigger a clause in his deal to extend his stay by a further 12 months until the end of next season.

Marco Silva’s side want to keep Snodgrass in a bid to increase their chances of beating the drop but will be willing to part ways with their No.10 if their £10m valuation is matched.

Hull signed Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic on loan for the remainder of the season earlier this week and his arrival could boost West Ham’s chances of securing Snodgrass before the transfer window shuts in over week’s time.

Snodgrass has been in sublime form for Hull this season and without his goals the Tigers would be seven points worse off at this stage.
