Manchester United are hoping to open talks with Marcus Rashford over a new deal, despite the teenage sensation only signing a new deal in May, reports the Daily Mail.
The England international has struggled for regular first team minutes this season, though netted the decisive goal in the 1-0 win over Hull last month.
Rashford is tied to the club until June 2020, but United are desperate to agree a new deal with the 18-year-old in order to avoid a similar situation to Paul Pogba in 2012.
The striker’s current deal makes provisions for a pay rise should certain targets be met, but United are keen to upgrade his terms.
