Manchester United will be without Antonio Valencia for up to five months after a the versatile defender had foot surgery, according to The Sun .
Valencia, 30, has not featured since the goalless Manchester Derby where it’s been suggested he damaged a bone above his left foot.
The Ecuador international has not featured for United since and while United haven’t put any timescale on his recovery, it’s thought he will be out of action until March.
In the last four years, Valencia has completed at least 26 more crosses (excluding corners) than any of his United teammates (82), accentuating his statistically calculated strength of ‘crossing’.
