PSG are readying a £40m move for Liverpool attacking Philippe Coutinho next month, reports the Daily Express.
The Brazil international has been sidelined with an ankle problem in recent weeks, though could return for the New Year’s Eve trip to Manchester City.
Coutinho, though, could have already played his last game for the Reds if reports of a big money bid for the 24-year-old are to be believed.
PSG attempted to sign Coutinho in the summer, but were rebuffed in their efforts to take the Brazilian attacker to Paris.
Liverpool would of course be reluctant to cash in on Coutinho, who has five goals and five assists in the Premier League this season.
The French champions, who recently brought in Julian Draxler, would face competition from Barcelona in the race to sign Coutinho, with the La Liga giants also keen on the Liverpool ace.
Coutinho’s form this season has helped return a WhoScored rating of 7.85, the third best in the Premier League.
