Inter are ready to offer Mesut Ozil an escape route out of Arsenal as the German considers his future in north London, reports the Sun on Sunday.
Ozil is believed to be pondering an end to his time at Arsenal having been benched for a number of big away games this season by Unai Emery.
The 30-year-old put pen to paper on a new three-and-a-half year deal worth £350,000 per week back in January, which takes his current contract up until 2021.
However, his time at the club could end next summer with Inter ready to bring Ozil to Serie A, which would bring to an end a six-year spell in England.
There will be no January exit, however, with Ozil prepared to see out the season with Arsenal, but the Gunners are aware of his depreciating value and would rather cash in on the former Real Madrid star as they aim to recoup the bulk of the £42.4m they spent to secure his services back in 2013.
Ozil has made 10 Premier League starts for Arsenal this season, scoring three goals and registering one assist to return a WhoScored rating of 6.99, and it remains to be seen whether he’ll make today’s Gunner’s XI for the welcome of Tottenham.
We're tired of Ozil let him go.
