Jonathan Walters has penned a new two-and-a-half year contract at Stoke City, the club has confirmed.
Walters was strongly linked with a move away from the Britannia Stadium over the summer, with Norwich mooted as a possible destination for the Republic of Ireland international.
However, after rejecting a previous contract offer at the club, Walters has now committed his future to the Potters, which runs until the end of the 2017/18 season.
The 32-year-old has bagged two goals from seven Premier League appearances for Stoke this season, contributing to a WhoScored rating of 6.88.
