Jorginho’s agent has revealed Arsenal and Real Madrid have shown an interest in the Napoli midfielder this season.
The 24-year-old looked set to leave Napoli last summer before Maurizio Sarri replaced Rafa Benitez.
Jorginho has instead developed into an integral member of Sarri’s midfield this season and his performances have even caught the eye of two of Europe’s finest clubs.
“Interest from Arsenal? It’s true. After the game against Palermo, compliments arrived from Real Madrid as well,” Joao Santos told Radio Kiss Kiss, via 101 Great Goals.
“Only compliments, nothing more. But it’s pleasing to receive expressions of respect from one of the most presitigious clubs in the world.
“For the future, we’ll wait for the end of the season. Jorginho wants to win the Scudetto with Napoli, he’s enthusiastic about these last nine finals. I want to reiterate that his priority is Napoli."
Jorginho is averaging at least 23 passes more per game than any other player in Serie A this season (102.5).
