Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff believes the club would be making a mistake paying €80m (£56.65m) for Juventus star Paul Pogba.
The Catalonian club have been heavily linked with the former Manchester United midfielder this summer and have already had at least one bid rejected by the Serie A giants.
Juventus are not looking to sell the France international, but are willing to listen to offers in the region of €80m (£56.65m), but Cruyff believes it would be "absurd" for his former club to pay that much.
"Barca were producing a major brand of player such as Xavi, Messi and Iniesta, who did not cost the club anything, and that is being lost," Cruyff told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope.
"The figures seem to be absurd. €80m for Pogba is absurd."
Pogba has been one of the most sought after talents for the last two years. Touted as a potential Ballon d’Or winner, the powerful midfielder's Serie A rating (7.67) was only bettered by Palermo’s Franco Vázquez (7.74) last season.

Compare Pogba to Zidane. Prior to Zidane's trasnfer to Real, he'd already won World Player of The Year awards, a World Cup, a European Championship, Serie A's and been in 2 UCL Finals. Pogba still has much to accomplish before he can command that sort of fee but with today's market, talent like Pogba comes at that sort of price I suppose.
