Bayern Munich chief executive office Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed an agreement is in place for the signing of Juventus star Arturo Vidal.
The Champions League finalists initally knocked back a bid in the region of €30m (£21m), but Pep Guardiola's side were successful with their counter offer, which was closer to Juventus’ €45m (£31.5m) valuation, and will now be accepted, Rummenigge has announced.
Vidal, 28, played an integral part in Chile's Copa America success earlier in the summer and has been a target for a number of Premier League clubs in the past, including Manchester United and Arsenal.
The Chilean midfielder has been an invaluable player for Juventus since arriving in 2011 and has aided their dominance in Serie A. In that period, Vidal has made at least 72 tackles more than any other player (546) and only one player has won possession in the final third more times than Vidal over that period (84).

Wenger lets another one slip
Vidal's not as good in midfield as me. I knew my potential, thats why I joined Man City. Defo not for the money!
