Tottenham will be without summer signing Clinton N'Jie for up to three months, manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed.
The Cameroonian attacker arrived from Lyon for a reported £8m, yet has struggled to make an impact due to injuries following his move to White Hart Lane.
His stop-star career in London has suffered another setback, with N'Jie sidelined until February at the earliest after undergoing knee injury.
"I don't know but we will expect maybe two months or two and a half," Pochettino said
"You never know because every day it's about how the knee responds but maybe two months or a little bit more."
N'Jie, 22, sustained the problem in the 4-1 win over Monaco earlier this month and his absence leaves Spurs short in attack.
That could see the club look to move for Saido Berahino in January, who was strongly linked with a switch to Spurs over the summer.
