Hull City have confirmed the signing of Ola Aina from Chelsea on loan for the 2017/18 campaign.
Aina, 20, made just three Premier League appearances for the Blues last season, with head coach Antonio Conte prepared to sanction his move.
“The Tigers have signed 20-year-old right back Ola Aina on a season-long loan from Premier League Champions Chelsea,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
“After completing the move earlier today, Aina joined up with the rest of the squad to fly to Portugal for a pre-season training camp.
“A product of Chelsea's Academy, London-born Aina made his senior debut in a League Cup victory over Bristol Rovers last August before a first Premier League appearance came as a substitute in a 3-0 win against Leicester City in October.
“Aina has made six senior appearances for the Blues, and has also represented England at Under-16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 level, although he recently pledged his international future to Nigeria.”
On his move to the Tigers, Aina said: "I'm very excited to be here and it is the start of a new chapter in my career.
"It's my first loan move away from Chelsea and I just want to hit the ground running. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of my new team-mates during the training camp in Portugal."
