Jose Mourinho insists he can get Falcao back among the goals after taking advice from Chelsea centre-back pairing John Terry and Gary Cahill.
The out-of-sorts Colombian secured a loan switch to Chelsea this summer despite a thoroughly disappointing season for Manchester United, which saw him net only four goals and register a further four assists.
Falcao mustered just six shots on target in 15 league appearances in 2015, but Mourinho, after seeking council with Terry and Cahill, believes the 29-year-old will rediscover his goalscoring touch at Stamford Bridge next season.
"I watched our game against Manchester United a few times," Mourinho said.
"I spoke with John and Cahill a lot about him [Falcao] and we think the bright movement is there, the movement to get freedom in the box to score goals is there.
"Our players had difficulty to control him and we feel the potential is there. Let's see if he can improve his confidence, his happiness."
Falcao's WhoScored rating last season (6.61) was one of the worst of all Manchester United players.
