Sevilla plot audacious loan move for Paris Saint-Germain creator

Sevilla are interested in completing a stunning swoop for Paris Saint-Germain creator Julian Draxler, claims Radio Sevilla, via AS.

PSG spent a reported £40m to sign Draxler from German side Wolfsburg in January 2017 but the 24-year-old has struggled for regular playing time.

Draxler made an impressive start to life at PSG but his career has gone off path since Neymar’s unexpected move to the Ligue 1 champions later that year. 

The Germany international has only managed 20 minutes of playing time during PSG’s first two league games this season.

Sevilla have until the end of the month to finalise their squad for the season and Draxler has emerged as a shock target for the Spanish side.

Pablo Machin’s side can only afford to take Draxler on loan and it remains to be seen whether PSG would sanction his departure without a guarantee of a permanent switch.

Draxler has made 48 league appearances for PSG and has scored eight goals and provided six assists in that time.
