Antoine Griezmann has revealed he is discussing his future with Atletico Madrid but refused to commit to the Spanish giants.
The France international came close to joining Manchester United last summer before penning a bumper new deal.
Griezmann made a decision to stay at Atletico after Diego Simeone’s side were hit with a FIFA-imposed transfer ban.
The 27-year-old’s Atletico future is again the topic of intense speculation and he has conceded everything is still up in the air.
“If I’m going to continue at Atletico, I don’t know, we’ll see,” The Sun quote Griezmann as saying. “We’re talking to the club to see what can be done.”
Barcelona are currently the frontrunners to sign the Atletico No.11, although United’s interest in the Frenchman is not completely dead and buried.
Griezmann struggled to rediscover his best form at the start of the campaign and that was accredited to the fact his head was halfway out of the club in the summer.
However, he has hit top gear in 2018 and put Atletico in pole position to reach the Europa League final against Arsenal on Thursday.
In fact, only Cristiano Ronaldo (20) has scored goals than Griezmann (14) in Europe’s top five leagues in 2018.
