Chelsea are gearing up to move for young Sassuolo attacker Domenico Berardi at the end of the season, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The 22-year-old is one of the most highly-rated players in Serie A, though injury has seen him make just 16 league starts this season.
Berardi, though, has put his time on the field to good use, scoring four goals and registering a further six assists to return a WhoScored rating of 7.12.
Juventus, who sold the attacker to Sassuolo for £8m, have a buy back clause inserted into his contract that would see Berardi return to Turin for £15m.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, however, sees Berardi as the perfect addition to his squad in the summer.
With the Blues on course to secure the Premier League title, attention will soon turn to strengthening the side and with a return to the Champions league, Chelsea require sufficient quality in all areas.
Conte is a huge admirer of the young Italy international and had hoped to hand him his international debut in 2015, only for Berardi to pull out of the squad through injury.
