Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan has confirmed he will stay with Roma next season.
Nainggolan, 28, has been earmarked as Antonio Conte’s No.1 transfer target this summer as he gears up to become Chelsea manager but the former Italy national head coach will have to look for alternative options.
Chelsea have failed with numerous bids for the Belgium international but the combative central midfielder has quashed reports linking him with a move away from the Serie A giants.
“Everything is calm with Sabatini,” Nainggolan is quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia. “Will I stay at Roma? Yes.”
Only two players have won possession more times in the midfield third in the last three Serie A campaigns than Nainggolan (417).
