Paris Saint-Germain midfielder to undergo Juventus medical
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi is set to undergo his Juventus medical on Thursday after the two clubs agreed on a €20m (£18.2m) fee, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
Matuidi has entered the final 12 months of his existing PSG contract and there have been murmurings of unrest at the Ligue 1 giants since the beginning of last season.
The France international has been regularly linked with a move to Juventus since last summer and has now reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with Max Allegri’s side that will run until June 2020.
Juventus have been trawling the market for a new box-to-box midfielder all summer and were previously linked with moves for Premier League duo Emre Can and Marouane Fellaini.
Only Maxime Gonalons (865) has completed more tackles than Matuidi (722) in Ligue 1 since August 2009.
