Everton are looking to hi-jack Wolfsburg’s move for Ajax wantaway starlet Riechedly Bazoer, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, via Get German Football.
Ajax head coach Peter Bosz has confirmed the 20-year-old midfielder will leave the club over the next two transfer windows and Wolfsburg have already emerged as the clear favourite to secure his services.

Wolfsburg have reportedly already reached a deal in principle to sign the Netherlands international in a deal worth €12m (£10.1m), but Everton have not given up hope of signing the Dutchman just yet.
Ronald Koeman is keen to bolster his squad in January and reportedly has his eyes set on his fellow compatriot, although it remains to be seen whether they have left it too late to get a deal for Bazoer agreed.
Bazoer has only made three league starts under Bosz this season and hasn’t featured for the Dutch giants since getting an 11-minute cameo in their 1-1 draw with Feyenoord in October.
The Ajax starlet enjoyed a thoroughly successful breakthrough campaign for the club last season, where he even drew reported interest from Barcelona after playing a direct hand in nine goals from midfielder (five goals, four assists). However, he is yet to play a part in a single league goal in 236 minutes of league action this time around.
