Crystal Palace have had a £7m bid for Norwich City left-back Robbie Brady rejected, according to The Guardian.
Brady is expected to be high in demand this month as Premier League sides look to bolster their squads with Palace not the only ones with their eye on the versatile left-back.
Reigning Premier League champions Leicester failed in their attempts to sign Brady during the summer and are understood to have rekindled their interest this month, but, like Palace, have been told by Norwich to match their £12m valuation.
Brady was part of the Norwich squad that was relegated from the Championship last season but arguably their best player before enjoying a good Euro 2016 campaign with Ireland.
The 24-year-old, who can play at left-back and further forward on the wing, has seemingly carried on his good form for the Canaries this season and is currently their fourth highest rated player (7.06) having played a direct hand in six goals.
