Barcelona target set deadline for future

Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels has revealed he has set a date to make a decision on his future.

Hummels, 27, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants in recent years with the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona and Arsenal among those regularly linked with the central defender.

With his contract due to expire in 2017, Dortmund will be forced to sell their star defender this summer if he decides against renewing his deal and Hummels has revealed he hasn’t yet made his mind on his future.

“I’ve set a date [for my decision], but I’m keeping it to myself,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s costing me half an hour before bed every night."
