Premier League trio interested in Bayern Munich ace Thomas Muller
Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in signing Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller this summer, reports SportBild.
Muller was regularly linked with a move to Manchester United during Louis van Gaal’s time at Old Trafford but is now attracting interest from their Premier League rivals after enduring a disappointing season under Carlo Ancelotti last term.
The Germany international failed to reach double figures for league goals last season (5) for the first time since the 2011/12 (7) campaign and he now faces competition for places with James Rodriguez.
Bayern announced the arrival of Rodriguez from Real Madrid on an initial two-year loan deal earlier this month after Carlo Ancelotti specifically told the club he wanted to reunite with the Colombia international.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly told those at the club he would like to bring Muller to Anfield this summer, while Juventus are also understood to be among the sides monitoring the 27-year-old’s future at the Allianz Arena.
Despite struggling to make his mark under Ancelotti, Muller did still weigh in with an impressive 12 assists in the Bundesliga last season, which was only bettered by Emil Forsberg (19) in the division.
