Roma midfielder sidelined for up to three weeks

Leandro Paredes could miss the remainder of 2016 after being ruled out with a ankle sprain, Roma have revealed.

The Argentine midfielder, who is developing into a key part in Roma’s midfield when called upon, missed their 3-2 win over Pescara at the weekend through injury.

Paredes has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, is expected to be ruled out for between two and three weeks and that could see the midfielder miss Roma’s remaining five matches before the start of the winter break.
