Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful of finalising a deal for Sevilla manager Unai Emery to replace Laurent Blanc as their manager for next season, according to Gianluca di Marzio, via Get French Football.
Blanc’s future has been cast into doubt since the end of last season after they crashed out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals and is expected to be replaced in the summer despite only signing a new deal earlier this year.
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is another that has been linked with the PSG hot seat but attentions have now turned to Emery after he led Sevilla to their third straight Europa League title last month.
Since being made Sevilla manager in 2013, Emery boasts an impressive win ratio of 52.2% in all competitions and has led them to three Europa League titles and a Copa del Rey final.
