Bournemouth are interested in signing Rob Green from Queens Park Rangers this month, according to the London Evening Standard.
Eddie Howe is believed to be on the market for an upgrade on current goalkeepers Artur Boruc and Adam Federici, who have both failed to impress this season.
Green, 35, has reportedly been told to find another club this month with the Championship outfit keen to move his £40,000-a-week salary off their wage bill.
The former England international has been omitted from the matchday squad in QPR’s last two matches, with 20-year-old Joe Lumley instead preferred between the sticks.
Green’s last stint in the Premier League was not a happy experience for the veteran goalkeeper. Despite often proving QPR’s best player, he still shipped more goals than any other goalkeeper in the league (65), as the Super Hoops were relegated back down to the Championship.
