Juventus keen on Chelsea ace

Juventus director Guiseppe Marotta has confirmed the Italian champions are keen on signing Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado on loan.

The Colombia international has failed to settle in England following his big-money move to Stamford Bridge in January, though impressed at the 2015 Copa America. No player made more tackles at the competition than Cuadrado (20) to help him earn a WhoScored rating of 7.20.

He is supposedly keen on remaining in London and establishing himself as a first-team regular with the Blues, but reports suggest the Old Lady are looking to secure his services for the upcoming campaign.

Marotta has now gone on record to confirm the club’s interest in the former Fiorentina ace as Juventus look to build on last season’s success.

"We are open to all possibilities," Marotta told Mediaset Premium Sport.

"If Chelsea were open to releasing him on loan, we’d be very happy with that."

Juventus have been busy in the transfer market already this summer, securing the services of Sami Khedira, Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and, more recently, Neto, among others.
