Inter chief confirms Ljajic deal

Inter have made their 11th signing of the summer and their third on deadline day after signing Roma midfielder Adem Ljajic in a deal worth more than £8m, the club's director Piero Ausilio has confirmed.

Roberto Mancini’s side will pay their rivals an initial £1.5m to take the Serbia international on a loan for the rest of the season before paying a further £6.6m to make the deal permanent next summer.

"Is there an agreement [for Ljajic]? You can say that, yes," Ausilio told Tuttomercatoweb.

Ljajic, who had been linked with Aston Villa, joins Galatasaray duo Felipe Melo and Alex Telles in becoming a Nerazzurri player in the final hours of the transfer window.
