Barcelona target set for new deal

Juventus will offer Paulo Dybala a new contract in a bid to fend off interest from Barcelona, according to Calciomercato, via Bleacher Report.

Barcelona have a long-standing interest in the Argentinean forward and were heavily linked with a move in the summer after his impressive exploits in his first season at Juventus.

Dybala, 22, still has four years remaining on his existing deal but Juventus want to add another 12 months that would make him the club’s joint second highest earner in order to kill Barcelona’s interest.

The former Palermo striker has started the season slowly and only scored his first goal of the season in Juventus’ 4-0 win away to Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League in midweek.
