West Ham are ready to sell Robert Snodgrass less than six months after signing the attacking midfielder, reports The Daily Mirror.
The Hammers signed Snodgrass from Hull in a £10m deal during the January transfer window after his impressive start to last season but the Scotland international has failed to make any impact in east London.
West Ham are now looking to sell the 29-year-old and are even willing to take a hit on their original investment after realising he has no future at the club.
Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday have already been linked with a move for the midfielder but are unlikely to be able to match his contract demands, while Slaven Bilic’s side may have to supplement his wages of more than £50,000-a-week in order to convince Brighton to strike a deal.
In the first six months of last season Snodgrass scored seven goals and registered three assists in the league for a struggling Hull side, garnering a WhoScored rating of 7.03 in the process. However, he failed to make the same impact at West Ham, failing to score in 15 league appearances and only registering two assists. His rating also dropped to 6.45.
