Napoli are interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette as Gonzalo Higuain’s replacement, according to Calciomercato, via Football Italia.
Higuain, 28, is expected to complete a staggering £78m move to Juventus this summer and Napoli have already drawn up a list with potential replacements.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are heavily linked with a move for Lacazette, but Napoli could be set to rival them for the Lyon striker.
Lyon are reportedly demanding at least £50m for the France international, who has three years remaining on his current deal.
Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic (57) has scored more goals in the last two Ligue 1 seasons than Lacazette (48).
